"Kirsberry" Kirsebär Vin manufactured by Better brands A/S

Kirsberry is a Danish cherry wine. It has been manufactured since 1891 according to a danish family recipe. When manufacturing Kirsberry selects the finest, most aromatic and juicy cherries which has ideal growing conditions in the Danish climate. The slow maturation brings out every nuance a cherry can muster. And it was precisely in Auderöds cherry farms, just north of Copenhagen, wine merchant Carl Theodor Jespersen got the inspiration to create Kirsberry. Now, as then, consisting of cherry juice and spirits only natural ingredients are included in the over 100 year old recipe. To realize his idea was Jespersen had to borrow money. As was the custom at that time he obtained the loan in gold coins. When the time had come to repay the loan Jespersen retained a coin and let it be mounted on a glass of gold. Today, every bottle that leaves the factory is adorned with a replica of the golden glass. Partly as a memory of how the company was founded, as well as a symbol of the high quality.

I'm drinking kirsberry wine with ice right now. It is not bad at all. I like the cherry taste and the maroon color of it. I can rate it 4 out of 5.
